What is a build to print service?

Build to print is the subcontracting of a supplier to manufacture components or full machines according to existing drawings and specifications.

For customers who require additional support with the manufacturing of specific components, Sewtec offers a build to print service utilising our in-house team of specialists. We can also offer further support for customers requiring upgrades and modernisation for outdated systems, recommissioning and installing on site as part of our refurbishment capabilities.

Benefits of using Sewtec as your build to print supplier

Sewtec can manage the complete manufacturing process on behalf of our customers, enabling you to focus on your core business operations.

Our fabrication and machine shop teams are available 7 days a week and around the clock to suit demands. Working to existing customer drawings and specifications, we can manufacture individual components through to the manufacture, assembly, and testing of complete systems.

Customers who have outdated drawings or no access to original documentation can still benefit from our build to print service. Our experts can reverse engineer equipment to create new design specifications to support the remanufacture of parts.

All components will be subjected to the most stringent quality inspection before being despatched. Equipment and machines can be re-CE / UKCA marked and we can also offer ATEX approved solutions and UL/CSA for our north American customers.

Existing designs can be assessed with modernisation and upgrade solutions proposed to bring equipment up to the latest industry safety standards. We can also assess any changing requirements for the existing automated system such as increased efficiency demands or changes to product lines.
