Canadian partnership with Packaging Machinery Concepts2 July 2021
Packaging Machinery Concepts (PMC Ltd.) have partnered with Sewtec Automation to offer customers a range of bespoke and standard packaging machinery solutions.
Founded in 1999, PMC Ltd. supply equipment to packaging manufacturers across North America. Offering a variety of catalogue products from various suppliers, PMC also manufacture equipment in house in their 6,000 sq. ft facility in Ontario, Canada.
Commenting on the new partnership with Sewtec, David Shutiak, President of Packaging Machinery Concepts said, “The immediate appeal of Sewtec Automation’s line is the readily apparent robustness of the machine frames. In our experience, frame construction is 100% indicative of how the rest of the machine is constructed.
As equipment distributors and machine builders, we want to supply equipment and it should just run! With our customers, we discuss operating cost. Not initial capital cost. We firmly believe that with Sewtec, we are representing an equipment line that we can install, and it will just run!”.
Andy Perks, Head of Sales at Sewtec Automation added “Working with David and the team at PMC will enable us to provide specialist packaging equipment to meet and exceed expectations of customers in North America.
We are continually growing our Sewtec presence across the world and by working with specialists such as PMC, we are able to provide high levels of service and local support to customers. This support on the ground is key to our Sewtec offering of highly efficient and bespoke automation that is supported throughout the life of the system.”
