Sewtec have been awarded a second gold EcoVadis Medal for sustainability, in only our third year of participating in EcoVadis’ corporate social responsibility (CSR) assessment. We scored higher than 67/100 in the assessment, putting us amongst the top 5% of companies assessed by EcoVadis across the globe.

Each year, EcoVadis analyse the sustainability performance of companies all around the world. In 2022, 75,000 companies took part in the initiative, including the likes of Johnson & Johnson, Nestle, Scheider Electric, Coca-Cola and many, many more. EcoVadis’ assessment judges aspects of a company such as environment, ethics, sustainable procurement and labour and human rights.

We first took part in this initiative in 2018 and were awarded a silver rating for our sustainability efforts. The next year we took part, we were awarded a gold rating and have maintained gold in 2022 with our highest rating yet.
