CNC Programmer – Nights

Sewtec are looking for experienced CNC Programmers to join our bespoke automation team on night shifts Monday – Thursday 6pm – 6am.

Purpose of the role

We are seeking the skills of an experienced CNC Programmer to operate computer-numeric controlled machines. You will be required to programme the machine and load the correct cutting tools to produce specific component parts to high tolerances.

To be successful in this role, you will be competent and confident in all technical aspects of programming, setting, and operating turning and milling machines. You will be able to produce components to a high standard whilst working to tight deadlines. You will also be able to demonstrate strong time management skills with the ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects.

The role also requires the successful candidate to monitor, report, and advise on project progress, as well as maintaining and recording all relevant reports and documentation.

You should have a team-player attitude and be able to work on your own initiative. You will also have good attention to detail and ensure innovation, best practice, and knowledge sharing within the business.

Qualifications required for CNC Programmer role

Minimum City & Guilds Mechanical Engineering relevant discipline (desirable)
