Business at Sewtec continues to grow and strengthen, and with an increase in orders and demand, we’re excited to announce that we are launching a night shift and hiring a number of CNC Machinists to make up this brand new team.
Our brand new CNC Machinist opportunities are permanent night shift roles, with working hours of Monday – Thursday 6pm – 6am. The perfect candidate will be a team player, skilled at reading and interpreting engineering drawings and confident in all technical aspects of programming, setting and the operating of turning and milling. We’re looking for proactive individuals with strong time management skills who can juggle multiple projects at any one time whilst keeping to a high standard of production.
So, what does this job role actually entail? Our CNC Machinists will be responsible for carrying out all responsibilities as instructed by the Production Manager. This could be producing component parts, scanning drawings into the operator terminal, monitoring quality control, developing work-holding and selecting cutting tools, ensuring deadlines are met and liaising and working in partnership with all other functions.
