Coronavirus Update November 2020
9 November 2020As an essential manufacturer, Sewtec Automation continues to offer support for customers across key industries.
We would like to reassure our current and prospective customers that we are taking all the necessary steps to minimise the spread of the coronavirus by continuing with our health and safety measures across our site.
We remain open for business and are fully operational to support new and existing projects, whilst also providing aftersales support to our customers worldwide.
In line with Government guidelines, we have the following policies in place:
- All visitors are required to wear face coverings when entering and leaving the premises, and when appropriate social distancing cannot be adhered to i.e. when working in close proximity with others. Our staff will also be abiding by these policies.
- All visitors will be asked to complete a health questionnaire upon arrival, in addition to temperature checks and being asked to take part in the NHS Test and Trace system.
- Hand sanitiser stations are in place across our site to ensure the regular hand washing of all personnel on site. High contact surfaces are being cleaned regularly throughout the day.
We are continually monitoring the situation and are ready to comply with any changing guidelines that may come from the Government. View our current risk assessment here.
As a UK based company, Sewtec Automation can manufacture all our machines from our site in Wakefield, which houses all manufacturing and office functions under one roof.
