Steve White, Coach of Alverthorpe Under 12 Blues – ” I want to say how grateful we are to Sewtec for sponsoring our away shirt this season. The team only started last season and is predominantly made up of children who have never played before and are just starting their football journey. Although we have managed to fund raise some of the money towards a lot it would’ve taken us another year to raise the sort of money to buy a full kit. To see the lads all kitted out in a brand new kit was fantastic and they were all so proud wearing it. Once again thank you so much to Sewtec it means so much to everyone at the club.”

Phil Townsend – “As a parent it was great to see a company like Sewtec support their local community by sponsoring our grass roots football team of Alverthorpe FC U12s. Mark Atkins and Sewtec went above and beyond to offer the team with an away kit for the new season and attended their first game to show support with a professional photographer. I’d personally like to thank you for this kind gesture, words don’t do justice for the gratitude shown from the team, parents and coaches.”

I spoke with Phil and he informed me they had contacted over 40 local companies but had not heard anything back.” Sewtec have a history of supporting local community initiatives and we were more than happy to get involved by providing new sponsored kit for the Alverthorpe team who are pretty much based on our doorstep. I was given an opportunity to attend their first match and meet the team who were sporting their new kit. I might be biased, but I think they all looked fantastic with their new Sewtec branded kit.”
